Cadex Electronics, Inc. has unveiled a new technology to rapid-test smartphone batteries. Built into the C5100-B storefront battery analyzer, QuickSort 4 (QS4) no longer requires model specific data as QS3 did. In addition, the capacity range of the patent pending QS4 has been expanded to service single cell Li-ion batteries of up to 4,000mAh.
“This is a significant development for smartphone battery testing,” said Isidor Buchmann, CEO and founder of Cadex Electronics. “The C5100 is now a truly universal testing platform for our retail partners.”
The four-minute test provides clear results of “Good” or “Bad” and is compatible with Apple and Samsung smartphone batteries. PC-BatteryStore software offers an extension to battery service by storing customer information, recording anomalies and printing service reports. You can export test results, make notes and compare with existing data.
