Philadelphia Scientific has introduced iBOS Operations Display, a dedicated computer with a touch screen that allows a real-time view into the battery room’s status. The computer is pre-loaded with Operations Display software, which provides up-to-the-minute alerts and required actions in addition to the current status of the battery room. This information enables battery room managers to optimize battery room performance and increase warehouse efficiency. iBOS Operations Display is an optional addition to iBOS Plus and iBOS Pro battery room management systems.
iBOS Operations Display can be mounted remotely in a manager’s office, an operations center or in the battery room itself. The display communicates directly with the iBOS battery room management system’s Controller to provide multiple views on the operational status of the battery room. The easy to see screen is divided into four quadrants:
- Quadrant 1 displays the status of charger pools and the location of the next available battery.
- Quadrant 2 displays a seven-day graph of the minimum batteries available.
- Quadrant 3 displays an action item list – a list of actions that must be taken immediately to maintain optimum performance in the battery room.
- Quadrant 4 displays system alert notifications, including battery mispicks, charger no starts and low battery connect voltages.
“iBOS Operations Display is an easy-to-use tool that provides increased visibility into the battery room,” said Harold Vanasse, vice president of sales and marketing. “The display’s real-time view enables managers to immediately identify issues impacting the battery room and take corrective action, resulting in optimized battery room assets and money saved.”
