Writer’s Guidelines

Battery Power is a technical magazine for OEM design engineers and integrators involved in the design, development and use of battery-powered systems (portable, stationary and automotive), as well as other professionals involved in power management. It has a circulation of 10,000 (digital).

Battery Power accepts contributed material for short, concise treatment of one topic. We publish feature articles that address industry solutions, trends of the industry, or other topics of general interest, rather than ones promoting a specific product or firm. Only previously unpublished, original material should be submitted. Prospective authors should call or write to present an outline or abstract of the proposed article before submitting a finished manuscript.

All articles must be submitted by electronic mail as a Word document. Articles should approximately 2,000, to 2,500 words. Articles will be edited for length, grammar, punctuation and style.

Artwork is preferred with each article. Tables, charts and graphs should be at least 300 dpi in Tiff or Jpg format. Color graphics, screen shots or photos should be submitted as black and white or color photographs or in .eps, .tif or .jpg format, for the PC. If you cannot provide artwork, let us know in advance so that we can make appropriate arrangements.

Please submit a concise biography of the author with the manuscript, and include phone, e-mail and other contact information.

All materials must be submitted two months before publication date. For more information, contact Allison Proffitt, editorial director: 617.233.8280 or by email aproffitt@cambridgeenertech.com
